Han Sung Park

Han Sung Parkgrew up in a rural part of Korea as the youngest of four daughters to her mother, who faced a lot of social stigmas as a widow. As Park talks with her son, she shares all that her mother did to keep her children's heads high, the kinds of expectationswomen of her generation experienced, and how painfulit was for her to leaveher mother and home countrytolive in the United States.
