The stories and experiences of our elders, our community, and our own lives shape who we are and who we become. They deserve to be shared and carried forward to the next generation. I give to Korean American Story to ensure they are preserved and honored, so we remain connected to our roots and our identity.

I give to Korean American Story because our history should be recorded, preserved and studied.

I give because there is so much diversity within the Korean American experience that is important to showcase. It has been vital in my own journey of self-discovery to learn from the breadth of our collective stories.

As a Cameroonian American woman with a deep connection to the Korean community, I cherish oral history as a living tradition rooted in Africa, shaping identity and connection. Korean American Story’s powerful videos preserving the Korean American experience deeply resonate with me. I ensure my biracial Korean American children watch these stories, and because of this work, my grandchildren will too. I give each month because I believe in this legacy and want to help it continue.
